Alpha preview notice. Mail 4 AI is currently in public alpha preview. The service is provided as is, with no service-level agreement, no uptime guarantee, and data may be deleted at any time without prior notice. Do not store production-critical content here.
1. Purpose
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Mail 4 AI (the "Service"), operated by Castelis SAS ("we", "us", "the Publisher"). They form a binding contract between the Publisher and the user ("you", "the User").
2. Definitions
- Service: the Mail 4 AI platform, including the web console at
app.mail4ai.eu, the MCP server, and all associated APIs. - Account: the User's authenticated identity on the Service.
- Agent: an automated software identity provisioned through the Service to send and receive email.
- Content: any data the User submits to the Service (configuration, messages, attachments).
3. Acceptance and changes
Using the Service means you accept these Terms. We may update them; material changes will be notified at least 15 days in advance by email or in the console. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
4. Account
You must provide a valid email address, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of any compromise. You are responsible for all activity under your Account.
5. Description of the Service
The Service provides isolated mailboxes for AI agents with allowlist-based send/receive controls, MCP exposure of email content, and audit logging. During the alpha preview, capabilities, quotas, and pricing are subject to change without notice; data and accounts may be wiped between iterations.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or phishing;
- distribute malware or content violating applicable laws;
- circumvent rate limits, allowlists, attachment scanning, or audit;
- attempt to access another tenant's data;
- violate RFC 5321 / 5322 or anti-abuse policies of recipient operators.
Deny-by-default allowlists apply to all agents. Out-of-allowlist email is stored but never exposed to MCP.
7. Technical limits
We may apply rate limits and quotas. Inactive accounts (no activity for 90 days) may be archived. Attachments are scanned for malware before exposure.
8. Pricing
The Service is free during the alpha preview. Paid tiers (PRO, Enterprise) will be introduced later with at least 30 days' notice and the option to terminate.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, its source code, brand and documentation belong to Castelis SAS. You retain ownership of your Content; you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host and process it solely to operate the Service.
10. Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" during the alpha preview. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for purpose, non-infringement).
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service over the previous 12 months (which is zero during the alpha). We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or lost revenue. This clause does not limit liability that cannot be limited under French law (e.g. gross negligence, willful misconduct, bodily injury, consumer rights).
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access in case of breach of these Terms, abuse, security threat, or legal obligation. You may terminate at any time by deleting your Account; data is purged within 30 days, save for legal retention obligations (see Privacy Policy).
13. Personal data
Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Data Processing Agreement.
14. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (network outages, regulatory action, natural events).
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Créteil, France. Consumers retain the right to mediation (see Contact page).
